The 20 pin to 16 pin OBD2 adapter cable allows you to connect to your BMW’s 20 pin diagnostics port to a compatible 16 pin OBD2 scan tool. This adapter is also referred to as the Type C to Type B adapter or the Pac Man. The BMW 20 pin diagnostic port has been equipped on BMWs from 1987 to 2000 (Z3 up to the year 2003) and is usually found under the car’s hood.
