    We are based in Perth, Western Australia. This is where our warehouse is and where we store our items. We are an online only store as this allows us to keep our prices down and it is the way things are going. If you are based in Perth you can select pick up and collect from our warehouse or for people from all over Australia if you need it in a hurry we have overnight shipping. Please note that we only have a warehouse to pick up orders from, and not a retail store/shopfront. Pick Ups are 2 – 4.30pm and you will get a email with details. Also if you need to drop by with returns etc please organise this and let us know when you will be there.



    We run a system of live chats and emails as this allows us to serve our customers better and run a more streamlined operation. One person can answer 3 chats but it is hard to answer 3 phone calls at the same time. It also allows our team to easily collect data on common questions so we can improve our collection of content and instructions to provide our customers with the best possible experience.



    Turn Around Time

    Most orders with Free Shipping will be at your address within 2 – 8 business days*. If you choose Express Shipping it will take 2 – 3* business days. We also have the option of Overnight Shipping which means it will get to you 1-2 business days* later if in a Metro area and if the order was placed before 12PM AWST. If your order is placed after 12PM AWST, it will miss shipping for that day so it will be despatched the next day (note that that is an extra day added to the shipping time). Our items are held in stock in our warehouse in Western Australia (Perth) so you will get them as quick as we can get them to you with AUS Post (Free Shipping and Express) and TNT (Overnight). You will receive an email with a tracking number so you can see when it will get to you once the order has been collected by the courier.
    We endeavour to post out all orders on the same day they were received  if done before our cut-off time (12PM AWST), however there are times we may experience unforseen delays, so your order will be posted the next business day.

    Order Special Requests/Notes

    If you have any special request/notes for your order, please send us an e-mail or go on Live Chat for it to be sorted. The ‘Order Notes’ in checkout is not monitored, so your special request may be missed by our warehouse staff. 

    Order Collect/Pick-up

    For order pick-up*, the transaction/purchase has to be processed online. Cut-off for same day order pick-up is 11AM AWST, and pick-ups are allowed only on weekdays between 2.00pm-4.30pm AWST.

    Order Cut-off

    All orders done after our daily cut-off of 11AM AWST will be posted or ready for pick-up the following business day. Orders done over the weekend are posted on the next business day. Tracking details are sent to your e-mail address after the order has been picked-up by the courier (usually in the arvo, AWST). Please note that Overnight Post orders via TOLL must be in before 11AM AWST to ensure it gets dispatched on the same day.


    Transit Cover/Shipping insurance is available as an add-on at $2.50 per $100 value (items below $100 in value are still insureable for $2.50). Should you wish to add insurance, please let us know prior to purchasing via Live Chat or E-mail. Uninsured orders that are lost or damaged in transit  will not be refunded or replaced by OBD2 Australia.

    *COVID19 Delays

    COVID-19 is currently causing some delays and these are outside of our control so please be patient. A possible delay of 1 – 3 business days may be expected on all types of shipping methods and order dispatch times. OBD2 Australia will not refund postage costs that have been impacted by delays.



    We are always here to support and back our products so most issues an be fixed with some troubleshooting which can be done over our live chat or email. Being a technical product some extra guidance can be required at times.

    You have a 12 month warranty* on your purchases from us so just get in contact if you have any troubles and you can return the item (If faulty shipping at our cost) and we will replace the item or refund you the purchase price.

    OBD2 Australia will not be responsible for any misuse of products that are outside of their control. We sell a number of technique products that require understanding to use and with a wide range of vehicles covered there are many variables outside of our control. OBD2 Australia will not be responsible for any damage caused to any equipment that our products are used on.

    OBD2 Australia will refund the full purchase price or replace the product if it is proven to be faulty and that the buyer has sent clear and sufficient video and photo proof showing that it is. If the item is sent back without this proof it will need to be returned in as new condition, and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. OBD2 Australia will advise troubleshooting when necessary, and if a customer refuses to troubleshoot, a 10% restocking fee will apply on your refund if returned. Only when troubleshooting measures are exhausted and when the item is proven to be faulty will a full refund be issued.

    Note that refunds for returns due to change of mind or incorrect/incompatible item ordered will be charged a 10% restocking fee (which will be deducted from the refundable amount)(shipping at your cost; refused orders will be charged $12 on top of the 10% restocking fee).

    Exchanges are allowed only within a week after an item is purchased (shipping at your cost), and they must be returned in good condition (item and packaging). A 10% restocking fee will still apply in these instances.

    In regards to apps we suggest in multiple places on our site that you purchase the free app then get a paid app. We do not refund paid app purchases.

    On-board diagnostics (OBD) is the cars ability to record and diagnose problems. It allows you to see all the data that your car can provide, make some simple changes and find and clear faults. The tools that plug into these ports are a must have tool on modern cars for you to work our issues and also for doing standard service jobs.     This can sometimes be a hard one to answer. But if your car is newer than 2006 in Australia then most OBD2 tools we sell will work with your car. If you car is older please contact us and we can help you out.



    We sell a range of tools and the main difference between the lower price tools and the more expensive tools is the systems they check. The cheaper ones will just check your engine data/codes and the more expensive tools will check all modules of your car airbags, transmission, injector coding etc.
